Candyrat Guitar Night featuring Gareth Pearson & Craig D'Andrea

Welsh guitar phenomenon Gareth Pearson is already considered a virtuoso in the field of finger style guitar. Only just into his 20s he has already developed a distinctive style to his playing that has earned him the greatest accolades from world renowned players; he has been called a genius by Jan Akkerman, and Tommy Emmanuel was inspired to write a song about him which he named The Welsh Tornado.
Craig D'Andrea has been receiving support from fans and critics alike since releasing his debut album "Crazy is Catching" on CandyRat Records in 2007. In 2007 he was also Canadian Fingerstyle Champion, and this has given him the chance to tour in the United States and Canada with respected artists Andy McKee, Don Ross, & Antoine Dufour.

Steve Ashley

Steve Ashley has long been regarded as one of Britain's finest singer-songwriters.
He has also played a significant role in the development of British folk rock performing as the lead singer with the first Albion Country Band, then with his own Ragged Robin and various line-ups of the Steve Ashley Band.
He also performs occasionally with members of Fairport Convention.

Tim Crahart Blues Band and Friends

Our annual Christmas bash is a little different this year as we welcome back the talented Tim Crahart and his blues buddies.
Tim Crahart, lead guitar and vocals (Tin Pan Alley, Evaburn) along with bassist Andy Long (3rd Day Rising, Close Quarters) and drummer Harvey Philpott (Evaburn) to relive the glory days of the blues power trio.
Come and check them out - you will be impressed.
Bring your guitar and an appetite for German Xmas cake.

In celebration of 10 years of the Islwyn Acoustic Guitar night we have a very special night planned with Chris, the amazing award winning lead guitarist with excellent progressive rockers Magenta and a fine classical guitarist.
